X ROADS TV has been selected to aid in pitching and additional development of the celebrity driven cooking series Chef Max’s Kitchen, originally produced by Celebrity Chef Maxcel Hardy, Marvin Williams / Big M Entertainment, Amar’e Stoudemire / Statosphere Productions & Royce Dixon.
X ROADS TV has been selected by Marvin Williams / BIG M ENTERTAINMENT to help pitch “Chef Max’s Kitchen”, a Celebrity & Professional Sports driven cooking series for an undisclosed option term. The series, originally produced by 5 Star Chef Sensation Maxcel “Chef” Hardy, Marvin Williams, Amar’e Stoudemire (Producer and NBA Star) & Royce Dixon is in a wonderful space as seemingly everything within the cooking genre is enjoying an amazing run. Networks such as “The Food Network” have spawned multiple properties, spinoffs and original concepts all circulating on America’s fascination within the culinary universe.
“For starters, I am pleased to join forces with my team here at X ROADS TV as it is a perfect fit. We have multiple options available within this union as we may produce the series in house or decide to develop the series further as a coproduction opportunity or we may simply use combined efforts to introduce Chef Max’s Kitchen to a host of larger networks for a pick up/green light opportunity. As growth within the cooking space continues, coupled with immense second screen consumption, the odds are in our favor to find the right home for Chef Max’s Kitchen.” Says Marvin Williams – President X ROADS TV.
The current Chef Max’s Kitchen sizzle features Amar’e Stoudemire who has enjoyed a fruitful 15 year NBA career as a prep-to-pro player with standout seasons with the NY Knicks, The Phoenix Suns and The Miami Heat. Rachel Johnson, celebrity stylist extraordinaire, also appears in the pitch with a client roster that includes Amar’e Stoudemire, LeBron James, Puff Daddy (Diddy), Russel Westbrook, Chris Paul and even more mega stars. Ms. Johnson has been featured in magazines such as GQ as her clients routinely make the A-List of best dressed celebrity athletes, entertainers and professionals. Marvin Williams directed and co-wrote the initial episode with Chef Maxcel Hardy. Stay tuned as there is surely more to come on this sizzling property.
X ROADS TV is currently in a blitz to accumulate original and completed, development or pitch worthy material as the network is focused on monetizing content through multiple new media and/or traditional platforms.
